Derek McInnes has breathed new life into Bristol City
Bristol City are improving and they can take at least a point from Millwall in the New Den on Sunday afternoon.
Bristol City are currently third bottom of the nPower Championship but they have shown some improvements since Derek McInnes replaced Keith Millen at Ashton Gate. The Scot may have taken a bit of time to settle into the job but the Robins are now unbeaten in their last three matches.
Two of those matches were away from home with a 0-0 draw at Upton Park and a 2-0 win over Barnsley two very impressive results. McInnes has been focusing on shoring up the Bristol City defence and it appears to be working.
The side are also looking far sharper in attack and an attack of Brett Pitman, David Clarkson and Nicky Maynard should be capable of goals. They can certainly trouble the Millwall defence at the New Den on Sunday as the hosts have already leaked 18 in 16 Championship matches this season.
It is 10/3 at bet365
that Bristol City beat Millwall although the Lions will be very tough opponents. Their 1-0 defeat at Blackpool was their first loss in six matches and manager Kenny Jackett will be looking for his side to bounce back.
They are 5/6 to beat the Robins but a better bet may be a draw, at odds of 5/2. This result may not be the best for the hosts but it would at least be something and it would maintain the visitors' momentum, which is crucial if they are to start climbing the table.
