Steve Bruce has urged his Hull City players to continue building their winning momentum after a strong start to their Championship campaign.
The East Yorkshire club are fourth in the table with three wins from their first five games.
Hull breezed past Millwall at the KC Stadium with a 4-1 triumph to build on their impressive 3-1 victory over much-fancied Bolton Wanderers, all their four goals being scored in the first half.
Robert Koren opened the scoring after 14 minutes, Jay Simpson doubled the advantage, Abdoulaye Faye made it 3-0 and Sone Aluko put the game out of reach by the interval.
Bruce has been pleased with the performances of his side in the Championship so far but has called on his players to keep their focus as there is still lots of football to be played this term.
“We played the best half I’ve seen from us this season,” said Bruce. “We’ve had a decent start with three wins out of three at home. There’s just 41 games and nine months to go now!”
