Harry Redknapp is likely to once again give his fringe players an opportunity in the FA Cup and they won't disappoint against Watford at Vicarage Road.

Tottenham Hotspur were beaten last weekend by Manchester City but Spurs can take heart from their performance against the Premier League leaders at the Etihad Stadium. They managed to overturn a 2-0 deficit before losing to a last minute penalty scored by controversial striker Mario Balotelli but most observers believed that Spurs were unlucky not to to claim at least a point. If Jermain Defoe was an inch taller or a second quicker then it would have been three.

Redknapp, who has been in court all week on tax evasion charges, needs to pick up his players but the chances are that it will be a much changed Tottenham team that takes to the field against Watford at Vicarage Road on Friday evening. The likes of Gareth Bale, Rafael Van Der Vaart and Luka Modric will be rested and in their place will come Roman Pavlyuchenko, Nico Kranjcar and Giovani Dos Santos. All three are international players who are looking to move this month and there is no better way to put your name in the thoughts of other sides than to score goals when you play.

That should mean that the Spurs reserves are motivated against the Championship side and that is half the battle won already. Watford are without a win in their last three matches in English football's second tier with losses to Birmingham, Reading and Portsmouth showing the standard they are currently achieving.

It is 4/9 at Bet Victor that Tottenham Hotspur beat Watford on Friday evening and that will be a price that can form the cornerstone of most weekend accumulators. Spurs are 8/11 with the same firm to cover a one goal line on the asian handicap and that looks very good for singles bettors. The bet is a winner if the visitors win by two or more goals and stakes are refunded if the margin of victory is exactly one.

Watford are 7/1 at bet365 to beat the Premier League high flyers but Sean Dyche's side will be lucky to even manage to get on the scoresheet at Vicarage Road. They have conceded 20 times in just 14 home league matches so expect them to let in at least two against a team that are challenging for the Premier League title.

Recommendation

Asian Handicap (-1 Goal) - Tottenham Hotspur (8/11, Bet Victor)
