Birmingham and Coventry are looking for their first Championship points of the season at St Andrews on Saturday afternoon, with Blues strong favourites

Birmingham City got off to a flyer at Pride Park last Saturday when taking a 1-0 lead, although Derby swooped for the three points to leave the Blues point-less going into the second round of Championship matches.

Chris Hughton’s men have got to be strong favourites to claim victory against a lacklustre Coventry side and bet365 offer 4/5 that the St Andrews crowd are celebrating a victory come the final whistle.

Hughton has seen the likes of Roger Johnson, Sebastian Larsson and Craig Gardner leave in the summer, although Cameron Jerome still remains at the club, while Liam Ridgewell is a good defender at this level.

Coventry were unable to take advantage of an early Darius Vassell red card in their match at the Ricoh Arena last Saturday and were reduced to ten men shortly afterwards before losing 1-0 to Leicester City.

They will be happy with a point from this match and can be backed at 7/2 to claim all three.
