The Next Hull City manager betting market has opened, with Nigel Pearson set to be announced as next manager of Leicester City

Stan James have wasted no time in going up with betting on the next Hull City manager, as it seems almost certain that Nigel Pearson will be announced as the new boss of Leicester City in the next 24 hours. 

The firm say they will refund any stakes placed now if he makes a dramatic u-turn. They have Billy Davies in as the 7/1 favourite, followed by ex player Steve McClaren, Huddersfield boss Lee Clarke and Dave Jones all in at 8/1. 

"As always we do not know which route they will be taking." Stan James spokesman Rory Jiwani told Bettingpro. "Will they go for a seasoned, experienced manager or will they opt for a younger up and coming name?

"There will certainly be no shortage of applicants. The Tigers are currently sitting in a decent position in the Championship so they have every chance of at least getting in the playoffs. The job will be on the radar of quite a few big names."
