West Ham United look set to be promoted to the Premier League on Saturday, according to Ladbrokes.
The Hammers are favoured by
Ladbrokes at 3/5 to return to the top flight after being relegated this time last year, but standing in their way is Ian Holloway's side who are looking for their second success in the play off final at 5/4.
During the season Sam Allardyce's side put four goals past Blackpool on both the home and away fixture, so it is 50/1 the 4-0 scoreline is repeated at Wembley or 40/1 on a 4-1 win for the Hammers.
Ladbrokes spokesperson Jessica Bridge told us: “West Ham were so close yet so far from automatic promotion and we cannot see them slipping up now at the final hurdle. Football fans all over the country would love to see Holloway back in the Premier League but it looks like they'll have to wait another year.”
Tom Ince is being heavily backed by punters to be the first goalscorer as he looks to emulate his father's successful promotion with Wolves in 2003, but at 6/1 the Irons' hot-shot striker Ricardo Vaz Te is favoured to find the back of the net first.
