Lee Clark has been appointed manager of Birmingham City and it is 6/1 that he leads the Blues into the Premier League at the first attempt.

Lee Clark has replaced Chris Hughton at Birmingham City and the new gaffer at St Andrews is 9/2 at bet365 to win both league games against old club Huddersfield next season, 6/1 to gain promotion and 20/1 to win the 2012/13 Championship title.
 
bet365 spokesman Steve Freeth told Bettingpro: 

“Birmingham are following a similar pattern to last season on the betting front with their promotion price drifting.
 
“However, Chris Hughton got very close to the Promised Land and Lee Clark will be hoping for more of the same – although he may not have the spending power that he had at Huddersfield.”
